Joint Governing Bodies

Copernicus Master in Digital Earth is carried out as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) co-funded by the European Union. The postgraduate programme is coordinated by Paris-Lodron University Salzburg, Department of Geoinformatics together with Palacký University Olomouc, and University of South Brittany.

Several joint governing bodies, with elected and nominated members from the international network of partners, support the joint Master of Science programme.

Programme Board

A committee of faculty members of a partner university, as well as co-opted members from the consortium’s international network, for the purpose of regulating, monitoring the academic affairs of the programme, and working jointly on the continuous development of the geospatial Master of Science programme.

Student Board

Takes over the representation of students and promotes initiatives and opportunities. Members bring forward ideas and proposals, and work together to solve problems that students may face and acts as a link between students and faculty.

Advisory Council

Contributes to the design, delivery and quality assurance of the Master of Science programme. It is comprised of renowned experts of the geospatial domain and industry representatives. Advises QA design and development of the MSc in cooperation and exchange with industry, academia, programme and student boards.
