Invitation for Student Sponsorship
The Copernicus Master in Digital Earth (CDE) welcomes sponsorship from public institutions, private companies, and other organisations interested in supporting highly qualified students. Sponsorship provides an alternative funding opportunity for students who are not awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship or who require additional financial support.
By sponsoring a CDE Master of Science student, organisations contribute to covering participation costs and living expenses while gaining early access to emerging talent in the fields of geospatial technologies, Earth observation, and digital innovation. Sponsorship also offers opportunities for closer collaboration, such as internships, thesis supervision, joint research projects, and participation in programme events.
We offer a range of sponsorship options, with financial contributions ranging from small amounts to fully tailored arrangements, allowing sponsors to choose a level of engagement that best aligns with their objectives. Through sponsorship, organisations support academic excellence while strengthening links between higher education and professional practice.
For any question regarding sponsoring or if you are interested in any specific option, you are kindly invited to contact the Selection Committee of the Master of Science programme at msc-cde@plus.ac.at.
We propose following tailored sponsorship tailored arrangements per student, however, any financial contribution, including small amounts, is welcome and directly supports students.
We invite you to become an ambassador for this unique study programme, where the full potential of Copernicus data and information is realised through education, applied use cases, internships, and Master’s thesis research.
The Platin sponsorship amounts to EUR 29.000,- and covers estimated living and travel costs for two years. The Gold sponsorship of EUR 15.000.- is a contribution to one year living and travel costs. The Silver sponsorship amounts to EUR 12.000,- and supports one year of living costs. The Bronze sponsorship, EUR 5.000,- is a contribution to travel costs for two years.
Any financial contribution, including small amounts, is welcome and directly supports students!
