Funding your Master of Science studies

Admission to the programme requires a qualification based selection process. The same procedure shall apply for self-funded (self-paying) students and Erasmus+ funded students.

Explore different types of funding which may be suitable for you.

Erasmus+ scholarships provide complete funding and are extremely competitive, not all applicants can be admitted to the programme since the number of eligible (short-listed) applicants per cohort exceeds the number of students that can be accepted. Put an emphasis on submitting a quality application including a cover and personal motivation letter, and an interview that will make an impression.

Information on ‘other funding opportunities’ contained below is to be considered purely indicative; information provided is without guarantee on write error and actuality; it is a candidate’s responsibility to explore opportunities, most grants are NOT guaranteed for the entire study period, they usually provide only partial funding.

There may be no single way to finance your Copernicus Master in Digital Earth studies. Therefore, check all available funding options and pick the combination that matches your needs. Either look for an international funding opportunity, search for financial support options in Austria for year 1, and explore funding for France and Czech Republic for year 2. In addition, we suggest to enquire in your home country whether or not there are scholarships or other financial support options for you.

Currently the Czech Republic does not provide any funding opportunities for Master’s programmes.
