Erasmus+ scholarship eligibility rules as set by EACEA

  • Student scholarships are awarded exclusively for full-time enrolment & will cover entire duration of EMJM study programme.

  • Students who have already obtained a EMJM scholarship or an Erasmus Mundus Master Course/Joint Doctorate scholarship are NOT eligible to apply for an additional scholarship under EMJM.

  • EMJM scholarship holders cannot benefit from another EU funded scholarship scheme to follow the same EM course and this for the entire period of the course.

  • No more than 10% of total scholarships per project awarded to students of the same nationality (does not apply to additional scholarships for targeted regions).

  • Candidates are allowed to apply for more than 3 EMJM scholarships for the same academic year; no limit for student applications.

  • EMJM scholarships are also paid during study periods in the country of residence of students as long as the student has spent during the EMJM programme at least 2 study periods (equivalent of 2 academic semesters); students spend two semester at PLUS and two semesters for the specialization track during the Copernicus Master in Digital Earth EMJM.

  • Applicants with more than one nationality must state with their application under which one they are willing to apply.
