“The curriculum states as requirement a bachelor’s degree in a geospatial discipline. A geospatial discipline is where you do a lot of work with maps, spatial data, measuring, analyzing, planning the real world. In addition, you are expected to have done substantial coursework with digital geospatial technologies – like GIS, Computer Cartography, Data Acquisition and RS Image Analysis; programming experience will be an essential asset. A first degree in a non-Geospatial discipline might be eligible as long as you have experience in geospatial applications like GIS, visualisation or remote sensing image analysis.” Selection Committee chairs.

Applicants holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a closely related discipline, such as Geology, Ecology, Physics, or Computer Science (for Earth Observation, GeoAI), may be eligible for admission provided they have acquired relevant competencies in the area of “spatial perspective,” including Earth Observation and Geoinformatics, through professional experience (internship) or academic activities, such as extracurricular coursework or projects. >>Supporting evidence, including academic transcripts, certificates, or other relevant documentation, must be submitted with the application.<<
