Student Life in Olomouc

Copernicus Master in Digital Earth Master classes take place at the Faculty of Science, 17. Listopadu 1192/12, 771 46 OLOMOUC

The official student ID card provides the following services:

  • University Library Card
  • Printing, copying and scanning services on campus
  • Payment at the student’s canteen
  • Access to buildings and lecture rooms
  • Internet access on computers at the faculties

  • Accommodation: List of Dormitories
  • Public Transport: DPMO
  • Shopping opening hours: Mostly from 8am to 6pm. Most shops and supermarkets are closed on Sundays.
  • Banks opening hours: On weekdays from from 9am to 5pm. Most Banks are closed on Saturdays and on Sundays.
  • Currency  is the Czech Crown
  • Czech voltage for using electronic equipment is 230 Volt, 50 Hz; the plug has two pins in one line (European Type E)
